Missoula marathon

Half and full marathon in Missoula, Montana, in the city they call "The Garden City." Amazing participation by the entire town and county. Front lawn hose squads cool down the runners en route. Lots of rest stations. The full marathon is a Boston qualifier. Runner's World rated the course as one of the best overall road races.

Course Description

There is shuttle service to the start line. The first part has you enjoying a river view and crossing an old bridge. These flat and fast USATF certified courses are both point-to-point, and you'll enjoy the countryside for the first half. For the full marathon there is a considerable hill at the half-way point. The race finishes in the historic downtown. The course is marked with cones and arrows; 8 ft. tall signs mark off the miles.
