Course Description

You'll run a rolling course of road winding through the back roads of the scenic Napa Valley's Carneros region, home to Napa's sweet white grape. The area is known to get fog and dew in the morning, key elements to produce their famous wines, but you'll soon climb into warmer weather as you come into the Sonoma Valley. The race may not be the fastest, but it is the most scenic. The race finishes in the tiny but historic town square in Sonoma, where General Vallejo planted one of the area's first vineyards.

This point to point course starts near Napa and follows the back road to Sonoma through the wine country. It is not a real fast course but it is very beautiful. Great medals, t-shirts and wine tasting. This race is part of the Destination Race Series. Why do I include it? It's no secret I love good wine.
