Salinas Valley Half Marathon

If you love a run in the country this is the place. Weather is kept temperate due its proximity to the pacific ocean. There's plenty of pure oxygen from one of California's best west coast growing areas, and it's not just grapes. This beautiful rolling hill 1/2 marathon course goes from Soledad Mission to Pessagno Winery. Just South of Salinas. Everything a runner could want in a race.

Course Description

The rolling hills offer a bit of a challenge but runners all set their own pace. Volunteers have placed signs along the route telling you the type of grapes and vegetables in the fields. This is some of the richest soil bordering the Pacific Ocean. Wine glasses and wine is free at the finish; along with plenty of water, fruit and recovery drinks.
