New Haven 20k

New Haven will host the 2012 USA 20K Championship. 7,000 racers will be on the starting line on Labor Day. You can count on the 2012 race being the largest and most exciting one in the event's long history. There is $44,550 available prize money and a bonus in the 20K road race.

Course Description

Starting on the picturesque New Haven Green, all three courses are flat and fast. The 20 kilometer course winds its way past Yale University, residential neighborhoods, scenic waterfront areas and large city parks. The 20K course has two hills and the rest of the course is flat with a few turns. In an effort to provide the safest course possible, both the 5K and 20K races have a time limit; 3 hours for the 20K and 55 minutes for the 5K.
