Boilermaker 15k

The Boiler Maker, a Utica-tradition, has a permanent finish line at the Saranac Brewery where crowds of more than 30,000 revelers take part in a post-race celebration that includes live music, fireworks, and even a flyover by a jet fighter plane. Runners, volunteers, friends, family and fans flood the streets of this tiny central NY town for this annual spectacular, now in its 35th year.

Course Description

The Boilermaker is one of a kind. You will never run bolstered on by so many supporters. The energy could light a city, but instead pushes the runners on to produce faster and faster finishes. The entire community is in on the fun and as runners pass through three different neighborhoods, each competing to be the biggest motivators, there is no shortage of cheers, signs, music and water! A few challenging hills offer panoramic views of the summer countryside in one of the most fun road racing events in North America.

Boilermaker 5k

If you would like to experience a Boilermaker race without committing to a 15K, the 5K Race is for you. Runners in the 5K event get to run the last 5 kilometers of the Boilermaker course and end  at the F.X. Matt Brewing Company where the post race party begins!
