For some reason I have never raced 15k but I want too. I like the distance. This is one race I would like to do. Like the fact they also spread out their prize money.

![]() Best Road Races - Associated Races ![]() Men's Olympic Marathon Trials 2012Race Coverage: http://www.ujenafitclub.com/nartic.php/4#nana On January 14, 2012, for the first time ever, USA Track & Field and the Houston Marathon Committee will host the men’s and women’s Olympic Trials Marathon on the same day, at the same site. This historic event will determine the three men and three women who will represent the United States in the marathon at the 2012 Olympic Games in London and will give the sport’s fans and media unprecedented access to one of the most prestigious marathons on the U.S. calendar. The U.S. Olympic Team Trials Marathon course will start and finish in downtown Houston in front of the George R. Brown Convention Center, the hub of Houston Marathon race weekend activities. The men and women will complete a 2.2-mile inner loop through the heart of downtown Houston and then run the outer eight-mile loop three times to complete the 26.2-mile marathon. The top three men and top three women finishers will earn a coveted spot on Team USA that will compete in the London 2012 Olympic Games next summer. The Men's race will start at 8:00am and the Women's race will start at 8:15am.
