![]() Best Road Races ![]() Clarksburg Country Run![]() Come on out for the 47th Annual Clarksburg Country Run. Break away from the city and enjoy some small town hospitality with a variety of race distances (kids' races, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and 20-mile) and a hot meal after the race. Since 2005, the race has honored the memory of Paul Reese, race founder and local running legend by renaming the Clarksburg Country Run the Paul Reese Memorial Clarksburg Country Run. Paul organized the first race on November 26, 1966. Paul was a true innovator within the racing community as his race was one of the Sacramento area's first organized runs and the largest for many years to follow. Paul became a pioneer in the ultra-running community and was thrilled as the Clarksburg Country Run became the first long distance road race in Northern California preceding all the current marathons. 2012 Race Winners · 2011 Results
