Kinhaven 5k

The USATF-certified course (VA08016RT) is entirely on a paved 12'-foot-wide multiple use trail with no road crossings. The out'n'back course is slightly uphill going out and slightly downhill coming back. We offer some unique prizes: 1st finisher in regular shoes; 1st finisher barefoot or wearing FiveFinger-type shoes; 1st finisher pushing a baby stroller The day after finishing second in course record time at JFK 50 Miler, Michael Wardian outlegged Ariel Lagilles to win this race, benefitting Kinhaven School in Arlington.
