KY Derby Festival miniMarathon

The Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon and mini-Marathon are Kentucky's world-class road races. This is the largest day of road racing in Kentucky history with runners being capped at 18,000 this year. The course takes runners through Louisville's historic landmarks. A great Expo makes this a runner's dream vacation to this famous American city.

Course Description

This will be the 39th year that the mini-Marathon will held. The race starts at Main and Floyd streets in downtown Louisville and finishes at Preston and Witherspoon streets. The newly revamped course running through historic Churchhill Downs and the largest Victorian neighborhood in the U.S. as well as running past the Louisville Slugger Museum, Museum Row (includes the Ali Center) and the University of Louisville.
