Course Description

An early group of Syracuse runners decided it would be nice to run a loop that included all four local parks, and the area's highest elevations. They earned the name "Mountain Goats," and "Super Goats." Today's race these old goats with a race that includes two parks and a spike in elevation 250 ft. and mile three and eight. The loop course starts out smooth past the Woodland Resevoir then starts to climb in the Lower Onondaga Park, a series of peaks and valleys takes you back down for a clear stretch until you start to climb to the peak of Thorndon Park, then it's home free to the finish line and post party.
