![]() Best Road Races ![]() OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon![]() The 36th Running of the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon takes place on Saturday, May 5, 2012. The Mini has sold-out for the past nine years with 35,000 registrants, and an additional 4,000 participants in the Finish Line 500 Festival 5K. The Mini-Marathon is the largest half-marathon in the U.S., and overall, the seventh largest running event in America. The 2011 event sold out on December 28, 2010. The 500 Festival Mini-Marathon Expo takes place on Thursday and Friday, before the half-marathon at the Indiana Convention Center. Participants pick up their race packets and visit the booths of more than 80 companies and vendors. The Expo is open to the public, with over 40,000 people attending. The 2011 race reached capacity on the December 28, 2010 (nearly 5 months prior to the event) - Not only the largest half-marathon in the U.S., but the 500 Festival Mini-Marathon received praise in Runners World, listed as one of "A Half Dozen Hot Halfs" in the world, based on participant experience in the 13.1-mile half-marathon. 2013 Race Winners · 2012 Results · 2011 Results

Course DescriptionThe 13.1-mile Mini-Marathon course stretches from downtown Indianapolis to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and back. Participants start on Washington Street and take White River Pkwy W. Drive to Michigan Street out of downtown, to Holt Road, to 10th Street and to Main Street in Speedway. Turning on 16th Street, participants will enter IMS at Gate 2 (the Speedway ’s main entrance) and complete one full 2.5-mile lap around the track. Exiting the track at Crossover 5 (behind the turn 2 suites), participants will then proceed south on Cagle Street to 16th Street, to Olin, back to 10thStreet. There they return to White River Pkwy W Drive to New York Street for the Victory Mile and finish just east of Blackford Street on New York Street | ![]() ![]()

![]() Best Road Races - Associated Races ![]() OneAmerica 500 Festival Finish Line 5kThe 2012 Finish Line 500 Festival 5K takes place on May 5, before the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon, and actually uses the same start line and finish line as the Mini. The Finish Line 500 Festival 5K will carry a 56-minute time limit for completion. The maximum field for the 5K is 4,000 participants. Runners and walkers in the 5K receive many of the same benefits as the participants in the Mini-Marathon, including:
