MVP Health Care Stockade-athon 15K
Joshua McDougal, 29, of Peru, N.Y., ran 46:34 to win the MVP Health Care Stockade-athon 15K, Sun., Nov. 9 in Schenectady, N.Y., in an extremely competitive race which saw the top nine male runners finish within 59 seconds of each other!
Sam Morse, 31, of Camden, N.Y., finished second in 46:42, Kieran O’Connor, 27, of Arlington, Va., third in 46:49, Patrick Geohegan, 24, of Syracuse, N.Y., fourth in 46:56, Lou Serafini, 23, of Brighton, Mass., fifth in 47:05, Andrew Foxenberg, 30, of Kirkville, N.Y., sixth in 47:09 … and so it went all the way down the line to the ninth-place finisher, Jaime Julia, 30, of Albany, N.Y., who ran 47:33, only 59 seconds slower than the winner.
In the women’s race, which wasn’t nearly as close, Megan Hogan, 26, of New York City ran 51:09 to win by almost two minutes. Hannah Davidson, 24, of Fayetteville, N.Y., finished second in 52:59, and Meagan Krifchin, 26, of Syracuse crossed the line third in 54:21.
